Im an editor and journalist working for the award-winning newspaper, Valdosta State Spectator. I have a passion for informing the public about the world around them. I have gained leadership skills as well as time-management, public speaking skills and the ability to create at the drop of a hat. I use my position as a newspaper editor to learn about my community and as a vessel to unleash my creativity. I am used to multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment. I hope to obtain a career that allows me to enhance my skills and to explore various career opportunities. I seek to use my skills in a position in which I am challenged daily and to have the ability to learn, grow and contribute my skills wherever needed in a writing, journalism or creative field position.
