Melissa Langerveld

Melissa Langerveld is a junior accounting major at Azusa Pacific University. She has earned a spot on the Deans list in all five semesters of her college career and currently maintains a 3.90 GPA. Along with her academic achievements, Melissa is highly involved on campus as a member of the schools cheerleading team. Through cheer she is able to support her campus athletic teams, while also fostering her own mental and physical development. Through her participation on the cheer team, Melissa has also acquired time management skills by working to balance a full class load with three hour practices three nights a week, gym workouts once a week, as well as additional community events and game commitments. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Melissa plans to continue on at Azusa Pacific University and earn a Master of Professional Accountancy to prepare to become a Certified Public Accountant. When she is not in class or cheering, Melissa enjoys spending time with her parents who live close by in San Dimas, California and her monster of a dog, Livvy, a 4 lb.Yorkie. She is a family-oriented individual who enjoys achieving at a high level in everything she does, whether it be putting in work to hit a cheerleading stunt or putting in work for an upcoming exam.
