ICC is pleased to welcome students in the Medical Coder Program for Fall 2016! Students in the Medical Coder Program complete 27 hours of coursework at ICC in order to earn a certificate. Upon completion, graduates can expect to be employed in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, physician offices, billing services and insurance companies. The program can be completed in approximately three semesters. Graduates have the option to take the certification exam offered by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) to obtain entry- and advanced-level credentials.
