Michael Hennigan

Michael F. Hennigan of Stroudsburg, PA completed the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program at Wilkes University and graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing degree on January 22, 2017. Michael previously graduated magna cum laude from East Stroudsburg University in 2013 where he received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. While at ESU he spent three summers studying abroad at Shenyang Normal University in northeastern China learning Chinese culture, language and politics. He also studied abroad at the University of Puerto Rico learning international and cultural diversity in nursing. Michael developed an interest in the mental health field during his military service. He served on active duty in the Army as an Infantryman (11B) from 2003-2010 with the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, HI. His service included three combat deployments totaling 39 months, one to Afghanistan and two to Iraq.
