Currently a senior at USD focusing my studies in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. Aspirations upon acquiring my degree involve working as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the Aeronautics or Aerospace / Aviation industry. Presently the welding advisor for the USD SAE Baja team, working on a team of 5 engineers tasked with conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping a pre-rotator assembly for a gyro-plane, conducting research on the use specific coatings and their associated normal force detachment strengths, and pursuing my private pilots license in single engine general aviation aircraft.
Skilled in use of SolidWorks, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis with Ansys Fluent, accomplished in assembling, programming, and operating 3D printers / additive manufacturing systems as well as a competent fabricator proficient in platework design, tubework, GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding processes alongside skilled in the use of both mills and lathes.
