Nia Holt is a native of Dayton, OH. She is majoring in political science at UD. She is also working towards a Psychology minor and Nonprofit and Community Leadership Graduate Certificate from the university. She has been a member of Girl Scouts for over 14 years. Nia has received the highest honors in Girls Scouting, the Gold Award, for her mentorship program for students with special needs at her high school. She is a regular volunteer at the House of Bread, St. Vincent DePaul, Urban Nights and Rebuilding Together Dayton. After her graduation in May 2014 she plans to acquire a Masters in Public Administration. She wants to pursue a career in either local government or her true passion, working for a nonprofits that advocates for youths.
