Nyima Dejesus

As many things change in my life one thing remains the same is my love for the court room. As a little girl living in Brooklyn, NY I fell in love with Judicial processes, most featured on Law and Order. As I step foot inside of a court room I immediately feel comfortable as if I was at home sinking into my favorite couch. It is this feeling of comfort that brought me to St. Lawrence University's HEOP program and later to the Ronald E. McNair Scholarship program. At St. Lawrence I am the Vice President of two organizations, a community assistant and I hold another job on campus. I am a government major and psychology minor striving to become a lawyer in my near future.
