Rachel Parsons

I am a professional designer who has been creating for five years. My passion for design makes me strive for the highest standards of excellence and creativity. I am an undergraduate Interactive Design major at Kennesaw State University, graduating in the spring of 2021. I have strong technical skills and an academic background in user interface design, interactive design, visual design and usability testing. My passion lies in solving problems with collected contextual information and quantitative data from individuals and communicating the user experience perspective to stakeholders. My highly collaborative and empathetic nature allows me to jump across verticals to deliver high-performing user experience solutions. As an IT specialist at Georgia State University, Ive taken on various leadership roles, which includes providing technical assistance and training to faculty, staff, and students with the use of human-centered learning. I also have a strong creative background in graphic design, animation and audio with experience in all manners of design software. In my spare time, I conduct genealogical research with six years of experience using Ancestry.com, 23andMe, and MyHeritage.
