Shannon Cooper

As a transfer student from a large public university, my goal was to immediately immerse myself into Mount Idas intimate classroom setting. I am a dynamic student who actively engages in the source material with the teamprofessors and classmates. I have a deep passion for animals, and was immediately drawn to Mount Ida as a college with the reputation for being one of the Nations best veterinary technology schools. I plan on absorbing, interacting and engaging in Mount Idas Career Focused Pathway and academic culture. With the guidance and experience of the professors, I plan on being the catalyst of my academic experience and career. The combination of my determination, ambition and focus with all available resources that Mount Ida offers: vital field experience, industry networking and state-of-the-art facilities, I will continue to grow at Mount Ida both professionally and academically. I will continue to put myself in a position to succeed as a proud Mt Ida student, and failure will inherently not be part of the equation. My academic goals are just part of my overall Mount Ida experience, one that has balance, is open to the community within the college and sprinkles in a little fun. Ultimately, I will continue to find shared success for myself and fellow classmates. Go Mustangs!
