Stephanie Reip

I previously attended Penn State University and graduated in 2013 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. After graduation, I was accepted into the police academy in Fayetteville, NC. After working with the department for less than a year, I decided to leave the force to pursue a new career. After moving back home to PA, I worked as a TSS for two years, helping children and adolescents with behavioral problems in schools. Still knowing this wasn't the right career choice for me, I began looking into going back to school. I knew I wanted to work in the medical field and after a lot of research, I came across Occupational Therapy. After learning more about the field, I knew it was the right choice for me. I was excited to find out that Central Penn College offered this program and applied to the school. Making the decision to go back to school after four years was a hard decision. However, it was the best decision I have ever made. The support from the school, the professors, and my cohort is amazing. School is hard work, but I'm loving every minute of it! I am engaged to the love of my life and have a wedding date set for next September. I am also a dog mom to a dachshund named Sadie.
