Stephen Georgio

A senior at Springfield College working towards a Bachelors degree in Movement Studies with a minor in Health Studies. I am a former football and lacrosse athlete, with an intense passion for exercise and athletic training, who is looking to expand his knowledge in the exercise and nutrition science field. The Movement Studies major includes a series of motor development, science, coaching, and sport development classes. The major also requires the completion of many sport and game classes (basketball, racket sports, gymnastics, etc..) for a smooth transition into the PE/Athletic Training field. The Health Studies minor includes a handful of classes that increase your knowledge in the overall health and wellness field. Some classes include Applied Nutrition, Human Disease, and Community Health. For 2015 I hope to study and receive another personal training certification and expand my personal training business as well as gaining more knowledge in my field.
