There is beauty in every aspect of basketball. You are bound to learn something every time you suit up whether you are the star player or the last person on the bench. I was a bench player. Leaving high school without any scholarship offers was tough to deal with but a coach once told me that if I really loved the game, I would find a way to stay around it for life; even if that meant from the sidelines. I am now an aspiring college basketball coach. While attending my university, my objective is to enhance my knowledge of the game through different experiences. I am currently working as a Practice Assistant for the Women's Basketball Team at the University of Rhode Island. I will be attending coaching clinics this upcoming fall and will be working hand in hand with individual trainers to learn more about player development. I am also currently working to learn film analysis softwares; Synergy and Gamebreaker. If you are interested in providing me with learning/coaching opportunities, please feel free to message me.
