Tiffany Byrd is an Engagement Director within the Outsourced Services Group of CliftonLarsonAllen. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park with a bachelors degree in accounting and has recently received her MBA from the University of Maryland University College earning a 4.0 GPA. Ms. Byrd has over eighteen years of experience in providing a variety of accounting services to nonprofit organizations to include: financial advice to clients, performing tax and compilation services; preparing and filing quarterly federal grant reports, assisting in the annual budget process, facilitating annual audits as the direct contact, supervising a staff of over eight, and manages client deliverables for a base of over eight clients. Tiffany has experience with the latest versions of many business software applications including: MAS 90, Peachtree, Quickbooks, Solomon, Smith Abbott, SBT, F-9, ACCPAC Plus, Great Plains, Intacct a web based accounting system, Microsoft Office, and other programs.

• Provide outsourced chief financial officer duties and responsibilities for a non-profit organization to include payroll coordination and processing, budget analysis, performing monthly closing procedures, providing financial support and advice. • Manage and supervise over eight staff on various client engagements, schedule and train staff, review workpapers and financial statements, tax returns, and various other client schedules. • Advise clients on financial and tax matters. Participate in client’s finance committee calls and board meetings. • Manage the entire monthly compilation process, including preparation of financial statements, completion and analysis of various reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts, review of general ledger, and preparation of adjusting journal entries. • Assist clients with updating or establishing accounting policies and procedures manuals. • Perform various analyses, such as variance analysis (budget versus actual).
