Hello!
My name is Abigail Murtha and I am an Ithaca College alumnus.
I graduated from Owego Free Academy in Owego, NY in June of 2018. Upon graduation from high school I also received an Associate's Degree from Tompkins Cortland Community College. I graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelors in Science degree in Health Sciences with a Pre-Medical concentrations and minors in Chemistry and Neuroscience.

I am currently serving a term on Ithaca College's Student Governance Council as the Senator for the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. In doing so, I am actively representing more than 1,500 students in the school and work to facilitate a working dialogue between my constituents and the larger administrative body of Ithaca College.
In addition, I am able to serve on two regular committees where I am able to meet with a wide variety of faculty, staff, and students in order to discuss and contribute to the future of the school.

Quidditch
As a club sport directly catering to fans of Harry Potter, I quickly found the much-needed enjoyment and exercise in IThaca's Quidditch Team: IC Hex.
On this team, I play for the beater position most regularly. This is a more defensive role and is a tad rough-and-tumble. All in all, it makes for a very interesting position to play in a rather engaging sport.
