Abigail Whitener was recognized for earning an academic award
I was awarded this scholarship based on my grade point average and ACT score from high school. It helped me tremendously and I am grateful for it!

Bulldogs for Life
I am the Secretary of this amazing group. I keep tabs on who comes to meetings, help Grace (the President) email people, and help set up various on and off campus activities.
Fidelity
I am a Fidelity leader for an amazing group of five girls. We meet weekly and do a short devotion and spend time in God's Word. Our faith in God and with each other is strengthened and we are able to be completely vulnerable with one another.
Field Hockey
I played field hockey all four years of high school. I had never played before and wanted to try it out. I am so glad I did! Not only did I get great physical activity, it was here I met many of the high school friends I'd become so close to, along with their friends!

Counselor at St. Paul's Lutheran School
This is my first summer being a counselor. The camp is for grades K-8, so I talk to a wide range of ages. Each week there was a different theme such as space or creation. We'd have devotions, activities, and field trips supprounding that theme. It was an all day camp, Monday through Friday, so I grew very close to these kids and got to know most of their parents quite well too!

Teacher at St. Paul's Lutheran Early Childhood Center
I was the afternoon teacher with another person for the two-year olds. We played with them, gave them snack, and developed awesome relationships with them and their parents!
May 2014 - August 2015
Cashier at Dairy Queen
This was my first job I ever had. Although stressful at times, my co-workers and managers were amazing people. I couldn't have asked for a better first job.
