Develop and Coordinate TECO Emergency Response Services to assure business continuity during emergencies. Assures that the TECO Logistics Section is sufficiently staffed and all personnel are trained in their assigned emergency function. Annually review and update emergency plans as needed in response to lessons learned during an exercise or actual activation. Responsible for field oversight of all Logistics, responsible for handling intense and chaotic emergency situations in a controlled urgent manner. Responsible for providing a comprehensive Get Ready! Program for TECO Energy. Responsible for leading the TECO Planning Section during training, planning, activation, and any emergency response as well as supervising teams. Manage Impact Weather System advisories and forecasts to issue alerts for severe weather company-wide. Manage the MIR3 intelligent Emergency Notification System. Create and maintain a library of pre-recorded messages and phased activation notices. Responsible for the timely dispatch of notification and messages to employees. Manage WASP Mobile Asset System for foreign crew and contractor bar-code identification, assuring safety orientation documentation. Serve as liaison between Emergency Management and Electric Delivery. Plan and coordinate disaster recovery emergency procedures for employees, contractors, foreign crew, and tree trimmers, through SEE Mutual Assistance Logistics Committee.
