Hi, My name is April Kosier and I am a senior Public Health major at Georgia College and State University. I will be graduating in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. While at Georgia College I have worked with children at the Collin P. Lee Center, worked on many projects to give awareness to the community about obesity, and have volunteered with the American Red Cross helping with patients. I am seeking a job for fall 2017 in the Health and Wellness field. I am interested in joining a non-profit organization and working with children.

Health Promotions at Navicent Health
Corresponded with staff members at the Wellness Center to coordinate their camp entitled Camp Fun N' Fit. This is a fitness and nutrition based camp aimed at children aged 6-11 years old. The camp lasted 6 weeks, and had an average of 30 children per week. As a intern, I lead a team of other interns to coordinate the activities and lessons that were implemented among the children. Other responsibilities include:
* Confirming all guest speakers
* Formatting Weekly/Welcome/Field trip Letters on Publisher
* Confirming all field trips (payment, bus rides, # of children, ect)
* Implementing various activities and lessons
