Alexandra Goldman

I am a soon-to-be graduate of Oglethorpe University in Atlanta (May 2015). I am a double major in English and Communications, and I am working hard towards a career in marketing. I am currently the marketing director for Engineering for Kids of Northeast GA, a new franchise of after-school programs located in Gainesville, GA. I have professional experience in social media marketing, online marketing, phone marketing, promotions management, blog writing, and article writing. Before Engineering for Kids I worked as the promotions manager for Farm Star Living, LLC, a start-up located in Atlanta, where I designed and managed promotions on a monthly basis. I also did a variety of writing, both for blogs and articles. I have experience in event planning and project management, as well, gathered from my positions as resident assistant and president and founder of Oglethorpe University's Outdoors Club. I have recently returned from a study abroad term at Oxford University in England and I have a new-found thirst for travel I one day want to satiate via a career in writing. I am highly motivated, ambitious, and disciplined, and I'm currently craving challenging, freelance writing projects to keep me occupied in my free time.
