Amalia Introna
My name is Amalia M. Introna and I am a student at Iowa State University. I am earning my major in Apparel, Merchandising, and Design with my primary emphasis on Merchandising and earning my minor in Advertising (Journalism and Mass Communications.) As a student at Iowa State I have participated in two student organizations. I am a club officer for Orchesis 1 Modern Dance Company, my official title as an officer is that of the "costumer." As the costumer my duties include; talking to the choreographers about what their vision is, communicating with the treasurer to ensure that all costumes stay within the company's budget, ordering or sewing costumes, and altering apparel as needed. I have also been involved in Trend Magazine, Trend is a student produced fashion magazine that publishes twice a year. As a member of the Fashion Committee for Trend I contribute to my groups photoshoot concept by styling and assisting the models.
