February, 08 2018 - Alma CollegeI utilized customer service and interpersonal skills to assist clients with their purchases, processed payments, and handled money.
I contributed to the firms file organizing project by preparing closed case files for scanning, entering case file information into the online database, and organizing and re-filing closed case files. I learned about the judiciary process through conversations with the partners at the firm and upheld client privacy rights through confidentiality agreements.
I worked in a two-person team to develop a funding workflow for the paralegals to make work more efficient. I also translated estate planning documents from English to Spanish so that the firm can serve a more diverse clientele. I revitalized and maintain the firms social media presence through blog posts and campaigns. I drafted templates for Medicaid processes to increase productivity on Medicaid cases, and I perform legal research on behalf of the attorneys. I regularly communicate with clients in-person and on the phone to confirm information on behalf of the attorneys. I also regularly meet with clients to review their estate planning binders and answer questions regarding their plans. I completed probate forms, Medicaid applications, and funding for clients, as well as upheld client privacy rights through confidentiality agreements.
I assisted in Spanish-language acquisition by leading discussions with students in 200-level Spanish courses and collaborated with Spanish professors to create activities centered around the Spanish culture and language.
I taught Spanish to 12 adults at a beginners level, created and presented engaging lesson plans to help students learn Spanish, and supplied formats for learning outside of the classroom.
I provided customer service over the phone and in person, utilized interpersonal skills to solve issues with difficult customers, and processed payments and handled money.

I enforced safety regulations in and around the pool and led swimming lessons for 3, 4, and 5-year-olds.
I was in charge of processing bills and payments, organizing and scanning invoices, answering phone calls and transferring the calls to service workers or sales staff, and tracking cash receipts.
I was in charge of watching patrons swim to ensure their safety in the water and on the pool deck. I also had to perform janitorial duties after the pool closed in the evenings; i.e. cleaning sinks and floors.
