Austin Wilder

I am currently involved in a few different production positions. Most recently, I have been hard at work as Co-Editor in Chief of EM Magazine. Our Fall/Winter Issue launched in December (you can view it in the "Publications" section of my profile). This year, I also worked on the broadcast team for Emerson Channel Sports, as a director for their live broadcasts. Additionally, this Spring I will be attending the 88th Academy Awards as Co-Executive Producer for WEBN Boston's Oscars Special. I am a Media Production Major at Emerson College specializing in Film & TV Production, Photography, Post-Production, & Web Design as well as a Marketing Minor with a focus in Digital and Video advertising. I have years of experience in numerous work settings related to my field of study, playing various roles and covering a wide range of mediums. Summer 2015: I focused on my personal freelance media production work, doing a handful of promotional videos, as well as shooting and editing wedding and event videos. In addition, I shot a variety of photos, including weddings, portraits, nightlife, and much more. This past summer I also worked at Emerson College IT Department, providing Tier 1 tech support to over 5,000 students, faculty, and staff members. Summer 2014: I worked as a Production Intern at WMUR News 9 in New Hampshire. Additionally, I have taken on secretarial duties for multiple organizations. Tasks such as recording meeting minutes and notes, scheduling, logistics, event planning, and anything else necessary.
