Charmaine-Grace Barlao, of Monroe, has been named to the Dean's Honor List at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the Spring 2017 semester. The Dean's Honor List recognizes full-time students who maintain grade-point averages of a minimum of 3.50 out of a possible 4.0 and have no grades below "C." Barlao studies Biochemistry & Biophysics. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, founded in 1824, is the nation's oldest technological research university. The university offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in engineering, the sciences, information technology, architecture, management, and the humanities and social sciences. Charmaine-Grace Barlao has been named President of Alpha Epsilon Delta, RPI's Pre-Health Honors Society, for the 2017-2018 Academic Year.

Charmaine-Grace has been named Public Relations Chair for Global Medical Brigades for the 2017-2018 academic year. GMB travels internationally to help run brigades, providing medical help to those in need.

Charmaine-Grace has been named Concert Master for the 2016-2017 academic year.
