After having the opportunity to create software and mobile applications in an agile work environment, my passion to be a software engineer sparked and flourished. I have enjoyed applying my coding languages of Java, JavaScript, and React Native to build projects for my friends, colleagues, and myself. To add to my passion of Software Engineering, I also enjoy working with others as we work to solve problems together. I'm looking forward to applying these skills and passions to a full time role.

Work Experience

Application Engineer Intern at Azusa Pacific University

Working in the Office of Discipleship Ministries to create and sustain web and mobile application software in order to connect students to resources provided by the office. Collaborate with project leader and project members to produce a product that meets the specifications and needs of the office. Manage time and establish personal goals to remain efficient while not in the office in order to build excellent software applications. Creating a website using Squarespace software so future student's can continue maintenance, and building a mobile application using React Native and Javascript.

Groundskeeper at Seattle Pacific University

Tending and maintaining the land at a Seattle Pacific University owned camp ground named Camp Casey in Coupeville, Washington. Maintenance and preservation of about 200 acres of land, consisting of mowing lawns, edging, weed whacking, and other actions. Time management and prioritizing of tasks to achieve maintain the landscape, while working individually the majority of the work day.
