Advertising Intern at UW-Whitewater Community Optimist Club
As advertising intern, it is my role to help the Community Optimist Club create promotional pieces for their organization's events including flyers, brochures, and more. Through this, it is my goal to help raise a higher awareness about the club's fundraising events while also helping to recruit future members. Besides creating promotional content, part of my role is helping plan events hosted by the Optimist Club including their annual Trivia Night, Breakfast with Santa, and more.

Marketing Intern at Broan-Nutone LLC
As marketing intern at Broan-Nutone LLC, the majority of my work centered around supporting the marketing department during the new product development process for a major product launch. For this, I completed New Product Requests that were used to put all information about new products into our system. I also converted a consumer survey into insights used for a PowerPoint presentation outlining the various likes and dislikes consumers had about our packaging designs. Outside the new product launch, I reorganized the product categories used for over 24,000 SKUs in our bathroom ventilation fan category. By doing this, I helped make our financial analyses more meaningful to those needing information specific to the bathroom ventilation fan category. A final project I completed during my time at Broan-Nutone LLC was creating copy on various product lines for a company sponsored website targeted at trade professionals and consumers seeking high performance and/or energy efficient homes.

Peer Mentor at University of Wisconsin - Whitewater First Year Experience Office
My role as a Peer Mentor was to help assist around 25 new freshmen from high school to college. I did this by leading them through the orientation process, answering questions throughout the semester for them, and planning events outside of the classroom for them to meet as a group. I also helped assist a New Student Seminar class with an instructor on campus. In class, we talked about how to succeed in college through the resources on campus, academic integrity, and through the different opportunities each new student had.
