Casey Stone was recognized for being a member of who's who

I received a Random Act of Kindness Award my Sophomore Year, 2013-2014, when I started the "Teens for Jeans" campaign at my school through dosomething.org in partner with Aeropostale for this campaign. Through this campaign I collected new or gently used jeans from my school and donated them to teens who were in need of jeans. I brought the jeans to Aeropostale, who donated them to homeless teens. In the 2013-2014 school year I collected around 30 jeans and double that the 2014-2015 school year.

Meteorology Club

I hold the officer position of Webmaster for the Meteorology Club where I update their website with club meeting times, activities, and information about their yearly conference, The Great Lakes Atmospheric Science Symposium (GLASS). In addition, I add all events to the Club's Google Calendar which is displayed on the website. I am also a member of the club and attend the GLASS conference each year as well as other club events.

I am a member of the Astronomy Club where I participate in club events such as Star Parties where we gather to watch meteor showers and other astronomical events and trips to science museums where we learn more about astronomy.

I photograph home sports games and occasionally some away games for SUNY Oswego. In addition, I edit these photos using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
