I work with six individuals to accomplish their personal goals involved in their Residential Habilitation Service Plan. Job tasks entail meal preparation, including manipulation of food consistency to meet clients needs, and both assisting in and providing oral feedings. I ensure individuals are completing ADLs by providing prompts and assistance when needed to allow independence. Job requires me to work weekends, holidays, and frequently on an overnight schedule. I work each summer and on school breaks on a per-diem basis.
