Caitlin Theros

"Success is one thing, but impact is another" -Ray Lewis I strongly believe that each of us has the ability to make an impact on those around us in the work that we do, regardless of our titles. Making a positive and lasting impact on those around us is the key to success, pride, and joy in the work that we do. My name is Caitlin Theros, and I currently hold junior status at Iowa State University pursuing a degree in Event Management with a minor in Spanish. I am passionate about events, passionate about people, and passionate about making an impact in others lives through my work. I have witnessed the power that events have to make an impact through my wide variety of professional experience within the event industry. By using my strongly developed organization, leadership, and communication skills, I have obtained positions ranging from volunteer, to employee, to intern in areas of the event industry including non-profit, special events, banquets, hospitality, and corporate. Recently I have accepted an internship position at Zurich North America, where I will return for a second summer, as an intern for the Community Investment Department. I am looking forward to this new opportunity to make an impact in my community in my work and to further develop my skills as a professional.
