Chad Armstrong

Member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi
From Fullerton, Calif.
Undergrad at California State University - Fullerton; proud of this school and my work here. I could have chosen any school in Orange County, I'm glad I chose CSUF. Cal State Fullerton represents the American Dream. It doesn't matter who you are or where you came from, if you're willing to work hard and give your all, you can create a better life for yourself here. Our campus is diverse and predominantly first generation college students. The high academic standards have challenged me, developed me and brought out skills I didn't know I had. Mentors, like Marketing Department Chair Dr. Lange, my professors, and friends I've made in the administration, have helped me navigate course requirements, discover resources, and explore career options. I'm grateful I was chosen as a campus tutor, it's a great opportunity to give something back to the University. Under the skilled mentoring of Assistant Director Dr. Lea Beth Lewis, the University Learning Center makes a positive impact on student success and graduation rates. Cal State Fullerton has been good for me. If you're questions about Cal State Fullerton, attending here, and what it takes to be successful here, please feel free to message me. I'd be happy to help.

Founder at Story Time For You
StoryTime motivates kids to read. Teachers, administrators, and everyone who makes a living educating children, I need your help. StoryTime was born when I learned my nephew was struggling in school. He's a smart kid but was having trouble putting what he knew on paper. I believed this was a problem that could be solved if he read more. I also knew he was interested in making YouTube vids. I connected the two ideas and StoryTime was born. Educators, you can help StoryTime by checking out StoryTime on YouTube (http://storytimeforyou.com/YouTube), connecting with me on LinkedIn, and offering your advice and input. Parents, please connect with me on Facebook where I share tips and tricks to help parents get their kids to read. http://storytimeforyou.com/Facebook Together, we can make great readers!
