Ph.D. in Physics at University At Albany
Thermal Transportability Based Gas Analysis Using Fiber optic sensors World’s first case of generic compositional gas analysis using Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensor. o Discovered a gap between real gas property and the well-accepted classical kinetic theory. o Developed thermal transportability theory to better solve the advanced heat transfer problems. o Using thermal transportability and finite element method to optimize the sensing system. o Performed compositional analysis using FBG on various industry gases. Method and System for Getting Ultra-High Resolution Images o Designed a system using CCD image sensor and piezoelectric crystals to get ultra-high resolution images. Led a team built two prototypes of the system.
