I am currently majoring in Animal Ecology with a focus on Wildlife Care at Iowa State University. I enjoy being outdoors and aim to learn something new about the environment every day. I strive to work with endangered animals after graduation and am hoping to gain as much experience in the wildlife care field as possible.

Animal Presenter at The Blank Park Zoo
As an animal presenter at the Blank Park Zoo my responsibilities were to care for our educational animals while on programs and educate the public on these animals, at the zoo and all around Iowa. Part of my job was to travel to different libraries, schools and senior centers to teach people about our animals and our conservation efforts at the zoo.

During the school year I work at the library on campus. My responsibility at the library is to help patrons find what they came to the library for. In my department that is often old newspaper articles on microfilm or DVD's. Making sure each person find what they came to the library for is of utmost importance.
