I am an undergraduate pursuing a degree in Education and English.
I strongly believe that education preserves and transforms the most important components of societies: culture, tradition and customs. They are perpetuated and transmitted to the next generations and ensure the continuation and evolution of societies. Due to this belief, I aim to dedicate my life to improving conditions in impoverished educational communities.
My work experience has provided me with extensive experience in planning, coordinating and managing programs, projects and events, where I communicated and worked with various executives, business owners, vendors and volunteers. Specifically, my work with Hand-in-Hand Rural Education Service saw me researching for, proposing, fundraising for, organizing and overseeing four service programs that have served six school districts and more than a thousand students, teachers and administrators.
As a naturalized US citizen who has resided in China, Singapore and the United States, I believe I can bring a fresh perspective to most teams.
