Damba Koroma

Mary Baldwin University, Class of 2015
From Alexandria, Virginia
I have gone through the Civil War in Sierra Leone. I was maimed by the rebels during that war. They chopped off my left hand. My number one goal is to go to school and graduate with honors and get involved in International Relations and build a state of the art hospital in Sierra Leone for women and children. I would like to work for the United Nations (UN). This is my life long goal and I pray that it will come to past. Specialties: I am an advocate in training for those who are less fortunate to have their voices heard, writer, advocate for gender equality, advocate for education for women
