DeJanique Grant

DeJanique Grant is a senior studying Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management. She has remained involved on campus since her freshman year in various areas. She loves to help people and has been able to do so through her various roles on campus. She has helped fellow students as a member in the departments of Residential Life,Financial Aid, and the Student Association. She joined the Albany State University Black Alliance (ASUBA) as the Assistant Treasurer, and since then has held positions on the executive board as Treasurer, Vice President and currently as President. DeJanique has completed hundreds of community service hours with ASUBA in the Albany community. While remaining committed to the community, DeJanique has been recognized for her academic excellence via multiple scholarships and awards and is on track to graduate magna cum laude in May 2017. After graduation DeJanique plans to remain at the University at Albany to earn her MBA in Finance and eventually become a Chief Financial Officer. During her time at the university she has also completed the International Business and Marketing study abroad program in Brazil and successfully completed the Future Forward Internship Academy with the Office of the New York State Comptroller.
