Director Of Alumni Relations Elmira College May 2015 - present Responsible for a comprehensive alumni relations program, including leading and organizing signature alumni events throughout the country. Additional responsibilities include planning and implementing programs that involve identifying and engaging volunteers, other alumni relations staff members, and colleagues across the office, school and campus. • Plan and coordinate alumni engagement events, including but not limited to Reunion Weekend, alumni athletic activities, and area- and nation-wide alumni gatherings • Coordinate production of Campus Magazine, the alumni news magazine • Coordinate and produce Alumni Link, monthly e-newsletter • Work closely with the Alumni Association Board of Directors, to ensure strong and productive relationships between its members and the academic and administrative leadership • Promote the College in a positive fashion to all alumni and other constituents of the College via one-on-one meetings, phone conversations, group meetings, and social gatherings • Oversee the budget for Alumni Relations and Reunion within the Institutional Advancement budget, manage existing and/or additional alumni programs, services and communications • Work closely with the Office of Career Services and serve as the liaison between alumni and current students to aid with internships and job opportunities
