Phi Alpha Delta

As a member of the Community Service committee, I helped organize and facilitate community service events within our professional fraternity. We worked with other community service organizations on our campus to make bracelets for the sick children at Winthrop Hospital. As the pre-professional chair, I am in charge of creating and managing events. My events had the highest turn out rate of the semester and even managed to get a few students to sign up for classes in the School of Communications, which our guest speaker was a chairperson in.

Work Experience

Undergraduate Tutor at Culture Play

I am currently the only tutor for the Classics department. Any students that need help with either the language or literature courses come to me for help.

Latin Teacher at Culture Play

I teach Latin to middle schoolers as part of an after-school club at St. Martin de Porres Marianist School. There are typically around 15 children per class. They learn both the language, culture, and history of the Ancient World.

As a Peer Teacher, I am given responsibilities to help create certain assignments. I also help with creating and presenting a small amount of lectures. Most importantly, I am a resource for students. If a student ever needs extra help or tutoring, I am the person they are supposed to contact.

Hofstra in Rome

A co-author of the World Changes Rome media archaeology project. In charge of prepping people for interviews and providing historical background and context for each location. Some of the tasks include coding the website and writing all the descriptions for each tag.

Created a fake public relations campaign to help boost Victoria's Secret's reputation. The campaign is to modernize the Victoria's Secret image and to boost viewership for the VS Fashion Show. It included targeted research and strategy plan. Received A-.
