Assist with overall planning and strategy around Simpson Alumni’s social media presence on Facebook and Twitter. Craft content for Simpson Alumni Facebook and Twitter. Create content calendar and manage the calendar. Assist with planning, strategy and execution of a Simpson Day of Giving Social Campaign. Assist with Office of College Advancement website updates when needed. Assist with Simpson Alumni E-Newsletter when needed. Research other private college’s social media strategy and presence to better the Simpson college accounts.

Serve as a mentor/resource for students during the fall semester by meeting them on Move-In Day, guiding them through Welcome Week activities, and maintaining consistent contact throughout fall semester. Develop outside of class events to help students build friendships and acclimate to campus culture. Meet weekly with the SC faculty member to plan upcoming classes, discuss teaching issues, and review the progress of the students in the class. Meet bi-weekly with SC Leader small groups and twice/semester with SC Leader large group. Assist with Summer Orientation and Academic Registration week.

Tour potential and future students and faculty. Answer questions about Simpson College from the life of a student through personal meetings, interactions, and panels. File, copy, and perform tasks in order to assist the Admissions Office.
