Erin Doherty

I am a current student at Olivet Nazarene University studying Psychology and Sociology. I am interested in perusing graduate studies in counseling, school, or developmental psychology. I am passionate about helping others and wish to work with teenage students in a social setting that helps them grow. For the last two years, I have worked for Youth For Christ as a tutor and mentor. As a student manager, it is my responsibility to ensure student attendance and progress is increasing. During the she summer of 2016 I served as an Intern Camp Director at Camp Warren in Decatur, IL. Currently, I am the summer's Program Director. I have experience traveling throughout the Midwest meeting and working with new people to lead music at youth events, Sunday services, and other events. As a team leader, it is my responsibility to be in contact with those in charge of an event and work with my team to ensure we provide what is needed in a certain setting. Locally, I am involved with on campus ministries as well as the Youth for Christ tutoring program as an administrative assistant.
