Member of a AAA division, award-winning marching band, I practiced 36-60 hours a week in the summer, 6 hours a week in the fall, and attended weekly competitions. As a section leader, I taught all incoming flute players how to march, helped them memorize music, and was responsible for the success of our section. Mechanical Engineering Intern at Collins Aerospace

Designed and 3D printed various test fixtures with CREO. Assisted with and reviewed a dynamic response report. Supported wind tunnel, vibration, and torque testing of various sensors. Supported remote witnessing for a large customer. Independently ran altitude and temperature variation tests. Developed a test procedure according to the DO-160 industry standard and wrote a technical test report.

June 2021 - Present

Thermal Engineering Intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center

Added thermal hardware to a 3D CREO model of a subsystem of the Roman Space Telescope spacecraft. Created 2D CREO release drawings detailing the placement of the thermal hardware. Plotted material properties of the RST subassemblies against temperature to find discrepancies. Learned how to use Thermal Desktop in Autodesk to do a thermal analysis of a spacecraft component. Created weekly progress reports, a midterm report, a final report, and an abstract for my project.
