February, 08 2018 - Verified by Capital UniversityAt Anthony Thomas, I am required to maintain a clean, presentable store. I often work alone during the slower times and I am trusted to open and close the store, as well as make bank deposits and complete the daily paperwork. I work to maintain customer satisfaction and create an enjoyable experience for all who visit the store.
For two summers, I was in charge of watching a young child while her parents were at work. I was required to take her to swimming lessons, feed her breakfast and lunch, and maintain her overall safety.
I worked together with one or two coworkers to create a safe, caring environment for up to 12 children, ages 0-11, to play while their parents participated in choir or band practice. I learned how to communicate with parents to ensure their child's safety and happiness, including managing allergies and any special needs the child may have.
I volunteered together with one or two coworkers to create a safe, caring environment for up to 12 children, ages 0-4, to play while their parents attended a church service. I learned how to communicate with parents to ensure their child's safety and happiness, including managing allergies and any special needs the child may have.
I was responsible for answering phones and taking pick-up orders. I was required to maintain a clean workspace and take additional measures when preparing gluten-free food. I learned how to maintain customer satisfaction and to work with my fellow coworkers as a member of the Donato's team.
