Ian Coon

I am currently a Freshman at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. I'm actively involved in school and the surrounding community. My professional and personal interactions all have a focus of empowering the passion-driven work of others through collaboration and leadership, while recognizing the critical aspect of student voice. I am one of two student co-founders of the Iowa Student Learning Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to revolutionizing student voice in Iowa. Among other accomplishments, I take pride in co-founding the English language learner Leadership Team that is working to share the voices of all of Iowas diverse learners and being Waukee High School's past Student Body President.
