The Salt Company Student Fellowship (TSC)
I have been involved in the Salt Company for three years, one of which I was on leadership. As a connection group leader, I was responsible, along with my co-leader, for leading and facilitating discussion and fostering positive relationships and community growth in our small group. In addition, leaders are expected to fulfill several other duties, including stadium clean-ups, monthly leaders meetings, retreats and conferences, and being an active member in a discipleship group.

As an intern, I: -- Assisted in examining, feeding, medicating, and when needed, euthanizing admitted wildlife patients -- Participated in public outreach programs to further the clinic's mission as well as to educate the public about the importance of wildlife -- Oversaw volunteer activities and trained new volunteers -- Utilized and maintained accurate records and paperwork on all patients and procedures

As an intern, I: -- Provided basic care for all patients and permanent animals (feeding, medication, vaccinations, fluid administration, cleaning, etc) -- Oversaw volunteers working during my shifts and assisted in the training of a new volunteer -- Assisted in the safe transportation of animals to and from release sites, as well as pick-ups -- Maintained a clean work space to assure efficiency and safety for both the animals and workers
