Jinghan Zhu

Jinghan Zhu, 22, is a 2017 graduate with Magna Cum Laude of Emerson College, where she majored in communication studies and minored in environmental studies. Jinghan is an inductee to Gold Key Honor Society at Emerson and Lambda Pi Eta the National Communication Association Honor Society in recognition of high standard of scholarship and a demonstrated commitment to professional and public service. She has been worked in media and public relations including WGBH (NOVA PBS), WEBN, Quzhou Daily, and Influence Matters. Her report won the second prize in 2016 Zhejiang News Award. Jinghan has also been an active advocate for education equality and environmental protection. She is the founder of Cilihua Charity for Left-behind Children in China and she worked for MIRA Coalition to promote Higher Education Equity Act. Jinghan was born and raised in Quzhou, China, and attended Communication University of China and Emerson College, where she tangoes among different cultures.
