Continually meets the challenge of integrating people, technology, and processes in utility mergers and acquisitions within the Operations' areas of responsibility. Guided the original PowerStream merger of Operations facilities into a single state-of-the-art system control centre. As Vice President of Operations, manage and oversee all aspects of system operations ranging from maintenance of network substation assets and communications, to the ongoing operation of a 2,000 MW distribution network. Active participant and distributor representative with the Ontario system operator in formulating emergency preparedness strategies. Chair of the IESO Smart Metering Entity Steering Committee. Member of the Canadian Electrcity Association Security Infrastructure and Protection Committee (SIPC) - past member of the Service Continuity Committee (SCC). Actively participates in the design and execution of municipal and regional emergency exercises providing input, perspectives, and capabilities of the electricity sector.
