Kaedynne Wilson

I am a dedicated and focused individual who has taken a particular interest in student affairs. I incorporate the use of the scientific method into problem solving allowing me to develop a more full option for finding a solution. When looking at my focus when it comes to my work, my central focal point is "What's next? Let's build off of that idea!" Prior to becoming a student affairs paraprofessional at Cazenovia College, I was on track to become a biologist with an interest in organisms and their role in their environment. This remained my vision until I became a Resident Advisor of Farber Hall in May of 2014. The acquisition of this position allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills and discover that I had a special drive and passion in regards to student development and residence life. In the fall of 2015, I was promoted to Head Resident Advisor of Watts Hall based off of my performance in the prior year. During my tenure as a Head Resident Advisor, I became involved with the Admissions Department as a Tour Guide and Open House Panel Participant. My passion for students and their college transition and experience lead me to enroll in Binghamton University and pursue my Master of Science in Student Affairs Administration. While at Cazenovia, I was deeply and passionately involved with campus activities including being an Executive Board Member of the Campus Activities Board, Executive Board Member of Alpha Lambda Delta - The First Year Honor Society, and multiple other academic, leadership, and service honors societies and organizations. In addition, I've been an avid equestrian with a focus in the hunters. I participated in the Intercollegiate Equestrian Team at Cazenovia College for both hunter seat and dressage serving one season as a Hunter Seat Team Captain.
