I'm Kat a designer kickin it in Rochester, NY. Im in my third year at Rochester Institute of Technology, studying design with a minor in Advertising and Public Relations. I have a strong belief in #pencilsbeforepixels, and I am all about hands-on design that connects people and solves problems. I am interested in UX/UI design, motion graphics and interaction. When Im not staring at my laptop screen you can find me taking photos of shapes in the streets, bumping a volleyball around or trying to write/share a little something about my experiences.

Designer at RIT Wallace Library

Part of a small team I work with a marketing manager to create cross-platform deliverables for five departments within RIT Libraries. Most of the work is design, but I also assist with copywriting as well as creative marketing campaign brainstorming for various events throughout the semesters.

Teach and assist students in the Time-Based Design classes with Adobe Aftereffects. I work with Professor Nancy Bernardo (The Graphic Design Department Chair) in her classes to help students learn the software and teach them problem solving when it comes to new software.
