Kathryn Griffith was recognized for winning a scholarship
Based on a vocal audition into Elizabethtown College's Fine and Performing Arts Department, Kathryn was awarded $2,000 annually as a music therapy major with a concentration in classical voice training. She studies with Dr. Anne Gross.

Melica
Melica is Elizabethtown College's all female a cappella group. We perform at 4 major shows a year: Etown's Homecoming show, Melica's Girls Night Out performance, the ICCA competition, and Melica's Spring Showcase.
I am the Music Director for Melica; this means that I teach the voice parts to the group during rehearsal, and I lead performances. I also arrange multiple songs for Melica's repertoire.

Harmony House SDLC
Promoting music advocacy and awareness throughout the campus and surrounding community. The Harmony House completes 5 hours of service each semester at the Sunshiners, making music with adults with intellectual disabilities. The house also completes 3 service projects a year, one for Into the Streets service, one for MLK day, and one as a requirement for SDLC occupancy that relates to our house mission, which is the promotion of music in the community.

Activity Specialist- Acting Antics at Camp Pegasus
Camp Pegasus is an 8-week day camp hosted at Rosemont College for children ages 6-15 with an autism spectrum diagnosis. As an activity specialist, I direct drama activities for the campers. We play theatre games and rehearse small plays for the end of each camp session's showcase. We also attend daily social lessons and learn a lot about social interaction from the perspective of an individual with autism. Aside from drama (called Acting Antics), other activities provided at Camp Pegasus include Computers, Digital Photography, Archery, Sports, Art Therapy, Indoor/Outdoor Games, and Music Therapy. Kids spend the day learning social lessons within these activities.

Over the summers, I would provide full-time child care for different families 4-5 days a week depending on the year. I cared for children between the ages of 4 months and 17 years. Other duties included housekeeping tasks, travel, meal preparation, playdates, pet care, and additional date nights on the occasion.
