Rita Kay Ringhiser

I was born and raised in Lancaster. I am currently living in Chillicothe but hope to relocate if God opens the door. I returned to college in the fall of 2012 to finish my degree after 3 decades...and I accomplished my goal. I have a son who settled in Louisiana after completing 8 years with the Marine Corps and a daughter who is a traveling PICU Nurse. I have adjusting to being an empty-nester but still miss having my children under my roof. I have asked God to place a new passion on my heart for this stage of my life. Now that my degree is complete, I have a lot of free time on my hands. I love to scrapbook and now have the space to have a crafting room. I also enjoy knitting and crocheting items for friends. Some tell me I should sell my items, but for now I'm happy to have them purchase the materials and not charge them for my time. I find knitting and crocheting very therapeutic and it helps me unwind when my mind is whirling non-stop. I've also now have time to read for pleasure again and do so often.
