Kathy Robbins

Majored in Mechanical Engineering
University of New Hampshire, Class of 2021
From Lee
I have lived in this area my whole life and would like to stay here. After I finish my degree I want to find an engineering job close to home. I work full time and go to school part time. I graduated from Great Bay Community College after the fall semester in 2013 but walked in the ceremony in May 2014. I graduated with an associates degree in Liberal Arts Engineering Sciences. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.69 GPA, and membership to Phi Theta Kappa. I received an award for the highest GPA of those graduating from my degree program.

I run the cnc Data Technology table to cut pieces of polyurethane and polyethylene foam to specific sizes and with specific cutouts. I run a die cutter when necessary. The foam is customized for the customer with the specific cutouts they need. I assemble the foam pieces into assemblies that usually fit into hard plastic cases. The assemblies sometimes need to be hand tapered on a band saw before fitting into a case.
