February, 03 2015 - Verified by The University of ScrantonI worked at a private school in Jackson, NJ as an aide who directly assisted an elementary-aged student. I helped with mobility, classwork, toileting, and feeding specifically for issues related to cerebral palsy. I encouraged my student to participate in classroom activities as well as school field trips to the pool or waterpark.
I worked during the summer breaks in between semesters. I was responsible for maintaining and driving a company vehicle, inspecting customers' homes, answering technical questions regarding pests and services, and removings stations from homes. My main objective were to calm customers with my professional demeanor, thoroughly and respectfully examine their home, and tactfully respond to unpredictable circumstances.
