In the past decade I have worked in the healthcare field and love every aspect of it. My long-term goal is to open my own nursing facility. This facility will be much different that the typical nursing homes you think of today. I have a passion for helping the elderly that started when I was younger. I want to help every aging individual have the best quality of life possible as they get older. I also want to help families with maintaining multiple households while trying to care for their aging parents. It can be difficult to juggle a career, home life and help maintain a parent's independence so my company will offer a variety of services for families who need help.

I currently work the front desk of a very busy dermatologist's office. The Doctor sees between 35-40 patients a day and I am responsible for checking in and out every patient. I am responsible for handling co-payments and end of day closing. We are exempt from having to switch to electronic filing for now, so I handle the organization of the thousands of patient files according to State guidelines.
